About John Vinsick

Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. I Grew up in North Versailles. My dad worked for National Tube in McKeesport for 20 years. He received a layoff in 1981. We went through the Carter recession. My mom joined the work force in 1982.

I started working at 13 delivering papers and cutting grass around the neighborhood. At 16 I started to work and have been in the work force ever since.

I attended CCAC for 2 and a half years then transferred to The University of Pittsburgh were I received my BS in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition. I worked after college as a Personal Trainer then went into sales. My background in sales is mostly medical and healthcare sales. I have also had a management background as a General Manager, Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and a District Manager.

Today I am part owner of a small business and I contract a courier business. Being from a working family background has taught me the value of a "Good work ethic". The business side has taught me that I need to make executive decisions.

I have a 10 year old daughter, Krista. She is in the 4th grade and is my pride and joy. I currently live in Hopewell where I have resided the past 12 years.
